Why is the Dimensity processor not as good as the Snapdragon processor?
In fact, the difference between them is basically not at the performance level. For a long time, Dimensity processors have had four major defects:
Memory delay
Whether it is Dimensity 9000 or Dimensity 9200, without human intervention in DDR OPP, its memory latency is higher than that of Snapdragon. For some games that mainly consume CPU performance, their experience will decline. In contrast, Snapdragon does not have this problem.
Video decoding performance
Many users know that the video decoding performance of the Dimensity processor is poor. The well-received Dimensity 8100 does not support hard decoding of videos with resolutions above 4K.
Camera algorithm
A very heart-wrenching fact is that the camera algorithms of smartphone manufacturers are based on Qualcomm platform models.
